# SAPUI5 MVC example with JSON file databinding
This is a simple MVC example where we load JSON data from an external file
and then bind this data against a table.
This example is based on:
[SAPUI5 Demokit Tables](https://sapui5.netweaver.ondemand.com/sdk/explored.html#/entity/sap.m.Table/sample)
{
"ID":0,
"Name":"Exotic Liquids"
}
sap.ui.jsview("view.Main", {
/** Specifies the Controller belonging to this View.
* In the case that it is not implemented, or that "null" is returned, this View does not have a Controller.
* @memberOf view.View1
*/
getControllerName : function() {
return "view.Main";
},
/** Is initially called once after the Controller has been instantiated. It is the place where the UI is constructed.
* Since the Controller is given to this method, its event handlers can be attached right away.
* @memberOf view.View1
*/
createContent : function(oController) {
var oButton = new sap.m.Button(this.createId("helloButton"), {
text : "Click me",
press: [oController.onHelloWorld, oController]
});
return new sap.m.Page({
title: "{/Name}",
content: [
oButton
]
});
}
});
sap.ui.controller("view.Main", {
onHelloWorld: function() {
alert("Hello World!");
}
/**
* Called when a controller is instantiated and its View controls (if available) are already created.
* Can be used to modify the View before it is displayed, to bind event handlers and do other one-time initialization.
* @memberOf view.View1
*/
// onInit: function() {
//
// },
/**
* Similar to onAfterRendering, but this hook is invoked before the controller's View is re-rendered
* (NOT before the first rendering! onInit() is used for that one!).
* @memberOf view.View1
*/
// onBeforeRendering: function() {
//
// },
/**
* Called when the View has been rendered (so its HTML is part of the document). Post-rendering manipulations of the HTML could be done here.
* This hook is the same one that SAPUI5 controls get after being rendered.
* @memberOf view.View1
*/
// onAfterRendering: function() {
//
// },
/**
* Called when the Controller is destroyed. Use this one to free resources and finalize activities.
* @memberOf view.View1
*/
// onExit: function() {
//
// }
});
